This past Wednesday (May 13th), we had an extraordinary King’s Bay Rotary Club meeting. United Way Director George Schmalstig kicked off the presentation, explaining his agency’s role in funding the HUD-VASH (HUD–Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing) program in Citrus County. The United Way acts as the pass-through organization for funds from Rotary directed to the HUD-VASH program.
