Thank you Linda and Bob McGurn for speaking to us last Wednesday (2/21) about The Good Shepherd Foundation.
The Good Shepherd Foundation provides medical services to some of the smallest, poorest, and most rural communities in Haiti. Clinics are staffed by qualified Haitian professionals.
Linda and Bob spoke about the challenges associated with running a clinic in Haiti and the impact of gang violence on the surrounding community.
Wherever possible, they buy locally and employ local contractors, thereby injecting needed hard currency into the Haitian economy.
