Thank you Karen Fisher for speaking with us about your journey, your foundation, and the importance of colon cancer screening.

In 2020 Karen was diagnosed with colon cancer. In 2021, she began support groups meetings. In 2022, she created with the help of two doctors, the non-profit charity Citrus Colorectal Cancer Foundation. Her charity focuses on the increased incidence of colon cancer especially in younger people and the need for timely screening for cancer especially in people in their 30’s, 20’s and even teens.
