Dr. Abhi spoke to us on Wednesday, October 16th, about his employer, ClearSky Health and Rehabilitation of Lecanto. They have been a part of the local area for about a year or so and have done a great deal in that time. He shared that they offer an interesting take on rehabilitation, with a whole family approach, encouraging significant others and caretakers to come to the facility and welcoming them to stay overnight. He shared their photos of their state-of-the-art rehab gym and some unique attributes of their facility, like their outdoor area set up with true-to-life obstacles they will face when released from care, and an “apartment” style room with a traditional bed, kitchen, etc. used for assessment of their ability to live on their own following care. Plus, we hear the food is top-notch!
