Nichelle Mohre-Cassidy, our guest speaker for the day from YaYAS. YaYAS stands for “Youth and Young Adults Shelter” of Citrus county and is our first and currently only youth and young adult shelter in the county. They, though new, are doing a great deal to combat an often unseen issue in the local community, teen and young adult homelessness. Nichelle’s presentation was enlightening for many of the members of the club.
