Thank you Ty Ramsey, the current Director of Bands at Crystal River High School in Crystal River, Florida for being a Kings Bay Rotary Speaker on Wednesday, September 28th.

This is his fifth school year in this position. Prior to his appointment at Crystal River High School, he served as Director of Bands at Crystal River Middle School for one year. Outside his K-12 teaching responsibilities, Ty maintains community involvement as a board member and performer of the Nature Coast Community Band, instructional staff member of Impact Drum and Bugle Corps in Orlando, and a performer in the pit orchestra at the Art Center Theater in Hernando.

Ty and a small group of his band leadership will be seeking sponsors for a new 24’ band trailer for the Crystal River High School Band.
