Thank you Karen Fisher for speaking with us about your journey, your foundation, and the importance of colon cancer screening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2020 Karen was diagnosed with colon cancer. In 2021, she began support groups meetings. In 2022, she created with the help of two doctors, the non-profit charity Citrus Colorectal Cancer Foundation. Her charity focuses on the increased incidence of colon cancer especially in younger people and the need for timely screening for cancer especially in <\/a>people in their 30\u2019s, 20\u2019s and even teens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
